Chris North

Chris began taking Adult Jazz and Tap classes in 1992 at S & R Dance. Over the years she has taken Ballet at Studio 121 and danced in numerous Jazz Technique & Tap Classes at S & R Dance. Chris competed with the Competitive Parent/Child Tap Team for 4 years. The team competed in several regional and nationals competitions.

 

In the fall of 1993, she became an assistant teacher in Creative Movement Dance and Tumbling Classes. She has been teaching our Tiny Tot classes since 1995 and has been teaching Creative Movement I, II, III and Dance 4, (ages 2 1/2 - 7) since 1999. She is currently teaching Tiny Tot, Creative Movement I, II, & III at S & R Dance. She also coached tiny tumbling and beginning tumbling at Pierce Athletics in Freeport for 3 years. Chris has attended several children's dance and tumbling workshops over the years. Teaching young children is much more rewarding than she ever could have imagined. She would like to thank you for the opportunity to teach your children.

 

Chris lives in Freeport, IL with her husband, Gary. They are the proud parents of two children. Both of their children are currently attending college.
